Sourced from Finland where the reindeer trade is traditionally a vital source of income for the communities, the hide is a by-product therefore the animals are not bred solely for the purpose of obtaining their pelt.
Wonderfully soft to touch, a thick pile in natural shades of silvery greys, browns and whites. Each with it's own unique markings. Reindeer skin rugs provide a luxurious accessory to your home and are very versatile. They can be used indoors and outdoors and look absolutely fantastic on floors, draped over chairs or as wall hangings.

The longer 'guard' hair protects the goat from the elements and the under wool keeps it warm. This under wool is also spun and woven into the world famous 'Cashmere' wool used in making fine woollen garments.
The skins are chemically processed and occasionally slight shedding may occur - this is harmless and will not deteriorate or affect the goatskin rug.
